From 17 to 19 June 2025, the coastal city of Natal in Brazil hosted the second edition of Green Destinations Latin America 2025 at the Senac Barreira Roxa Hotel. Organised by the Instituto DEL of CENI – FACISC, Senac RN and Green Destinations Brasil, the event welcomed over 230 participants, including national and international tourism leaders, sustainability experts, policymakers and civil society actors. This regional gathering built on the momentum of the inaugural Latin American edition in Bombinhas in 2023, offering a comprehensive platform to advance sustainable tourism practices.
Distinguished guests included the Governor of Rio Grande do Sul, directors from federal and state-level institutions, and the Director of International Cooperation at the German Embassy. Their attendance highlighted the growing relevance of the event for aligning tourism with broader sustainability goals in Latin America.
