The Green Destinations Story Awards showcase and celebrates the most inspirational initiatives for sustainable tourism development from stories submitted to the annual Green Destinations Top 100 Stories competition.







About the Event
The Green Destinations Story Awards showcase the most inspirational initiatives for sustainable tourism development in 6 categories from submissions to the annual Green Destinations Top 100 Stories competition.
The Green Destinations Story Awards ceremony will take place at ITB Berlin 2023 on Tuesday, 7 March, at the “Green Stage” (Hall 3.1) from 16:35h to 17:30h CET.

The ITB Earth Award
This award recognises global leadership in the fight against climate change and environmental degradation amongst a collection of smart projects for more sustainable tourism.
This story is elected by Rika Jean-François, Commissioner ITB Corporate Social Responsibility.

The People’s Choice Award
This year again, Green Destinations will open a 6th category of awards: the People’s Choice Award – to allow YOU to support your favourite story.
The destination that received the most votes will be awarded the People’s Choice Award at the Green Destinations Story Awards ceremony at ITB Berlin.
