ITB Berlin, organised by Messe Berlin GmbH, and the Green Destinations – Good Travel Community have formalised a strategic, non-exclusive cooperation to strengthen sustainability dialogue, responsible tourism practices and long-term destination development within the global travel industry.

The prestigious ITB Earth Award 2026 has been presented to Fernando de Noronha, Brazil’s Good Practice Story “Tourism Among Dolphins: The Transformative Impact of the Spinner Dolphin Project” in recognition of its outstanding long-term commitment to sustainable tourism and marine conservation.
